目的：本课程通过对俄国形式主义、英美新批评、原型批评、结构主义、精神分析批评、接受美学与读者反应理论、后结构主义、西方马克思主义批评、女权主义、后现代主义、新历史主义、后殖民主义、性别研究、后现代生态批评、文化研究、生态后现代主义、后现代文学伦理学批评、后人文主义批评等18种当代西方文艺批评理论的研讨，学习、掌握当代西方在历史、哲学、美学、人类学、政治学、心理学、社会学、思想史、文艺学等领域内出现的新思想、新观点、新理论，学会用跨学科多种方法论解读、欣赏、评论西方文学作品，从而获得对人类社会更近于科学的认识。
要求：课前预习文论选读材料，准备课堂结合作品讨论；有一定量的英美文学作品阅读基础。

陈必豪，北京大学英语系文学博士，耶鲁大学英语系联合培养博士，澳大利亚伍伦贡大学英语系访问学者，现为中国科学院大学外语系讲师。研究方向包括现当代美国文学，现当代文学批评理论，莎士比亚研究等。代表性论文：“欲望、剩余快感与梦境：《麦克白》的心理分析”（2020）；“传统与现代的博弈：福克纳南方庄园小说中的长子继承制研究”（2019）；“乔治·威尔逊之死：《了不起的盖茨比》的新历史主义解读”（2016）。
