教学目的要求
This course provides a theoretical framework and practical knowledge of thermal infrared remote sensing for graduate students (Master and PhD.). Understand the research status of thermal infrared remote sensing, master the basic concept and processing flow of thermal infrared remote sensing, learn how to correct for the atmospheric effect in thermal infrared, and how to retrieve and validate the basic parameters of thermal infrared (land surface temperature and emissivity), and understand the development trend of thermal infrared remote sensing. At the same time, combined with practical courses, students will further deepen their understanding of thermal infrared remote sensing.

课程教师信息
Hua Wu received the B.S. degree in photogrammetric engineering and remote sensing from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2003, the M.S. degree in cartography and geographical information system from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and geographical information system from the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, in 2010. He is currently a Researcher with the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on the thermal infrared remote sensing.
Li Ni received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in photogrammetric engineering and remote sensing from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively and the Ph.D. degree in cartography and geographical information systems from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, in 2015. She is currently an Associate Researcher with the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on the hyperspectral remote sensing.
