Participation in lectures, discussions, and other activities is an essential part of the instructional process. Students are expected to attend class regularly. Those who are compelled to miss class should inform the instructor of the reasons for absences. Unexcused late assignments will have at a minimum 5 points deducted. 汪涛教授，博士生导师，2019年获得优秀青年科学基金，并在2016年入选“千人计划”青年人才获得者。他长期致力于研究高寒生态系统对气候变化的响应与反馈过程及其机制，作为第一或通讯作者，发表了90余篇SCI论文，其中包括在《Nature Climate Change》、《Nature Communications》和《Science Advances》等期刊上的重要论文。他的学术影响力于2020年被科睿唯安评选为“全球高被引科学家”。

汪诗平教授，博士生导师，于2005年入选中国科学院“百人计划”，2010年获得中国科学院朱李月华优秀教师奖，2018年荣获西藏自治区科学技术奖一等奖、青海省科学技术奖二等奖（均排名第一），并荣获中国科学院优秀导师奖。他长期从事全球变化和草原管理等方面的研究，累计发表学术论文300余篇，其中SCI论文140余篇，包括在《Nature》、《Nature Communications》、《Global Change Biology》、《Journal of Ecology》、《Ecology》、《Soil Biology and Biochemistry》、《Agriculture and Forest Meteorology》等一区高端刊物上的学术论文30余篇。

梁尔源教授，博士生导师，于2010年获得教育部自然科学奖二等奖，2011年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会会员，2015年获得国家杰出青年科学基金，2016年成为中国科学院青年创新促进会杰出会员，2017年被选入国家创新人才推进计划。他从事于高山树线的生态过程研究，在《PNAS》、《Ecology》、《New Phytologist》、《Climatic Change》、《Tree Physiology》、《Annals of Botany》等期刊上发表了50多篇SCI论文。

张更新教授是博士生导师，于2010年加入中国科学院“百人计划”，是中国矿物岩石地球化学学会会员。他的研究方向包括土壤微生物，已在《Applied Environmental Microbiology》、《Environmental Microbiology》、《Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta》和《Chemical Geochemistry》等期刊上发表了30篇SCI论文。
