Changqing Zeng graduated from Beijing Normal University with B.S and Master degrees, obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and had post-doctor training at Baylor College of Medicine. She served as the director of Research Office at Beijing Genomics Institute (BGI) in 2002-2007, and she was also the Steering Committee member of the International HapMap Project and the coordinator of the China HapMap Consortium. She has been the professor of the Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG) since 2003 and was the director of the CAS Key Laboratory of Genomic and Precision Medicine from 2014 to 2022. As an emerita professor of BIG, Dr. Zeng is currently the principal investigator of precision medicine at Henan Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zeng She also serves as the CAS representative of the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health and a panel member of the Human Genetic Resources Administration of China. Her research includes various projects in population health and precision medicine.
